LOGO ANATOMY:

2- CRESCENT “C” SHAPE: Stands for Cumberland, coal, and carbon
3- FERN LEAF SHAPE: Coal is formed from prehistoric vegetation, particularly ferns. With the colors, changing shapes represents the transformative process that creates coal. Symbolizes growth, progress, and the cyclical nature of the universe.
4- TOP CIRCLE SHAPE: Visual weight strongly mimics the density and color of coal. Represents finality, stability, and importance. Circle symbolizes soil and earth from which coal is extracted.
5- SIX PARTS: Carbon’s atomic number is 6
6- GREEN COLORS: Suggests a “green” image and consideration for the environment.
