Lenovo + Windows 11 “That’s an 11” Video Series

I was fortunate enough to have a concept of mine chosen by the folks at Lenovo to be produced as a series promoting the advantages of upgrading to Windows 11 for the office.

THE PROBLEM

Windows 11 represented a meaningful shift, but for many organizations, upgrading wasn’t a priority. Teams were comfortable with Windows 10, and the perceived cost, disruption, and uncertainty made it easy to delay the decision. At the same time, Windows 10 support would inevitably be on the horizon, and Lenovo needed to encourage not just OS adoption, but the purchase of new devices optimized for Windows 11.

THE INSIGHT

The challenge wasn’t explaining features. It was changing behavior. IT decision-makers needed proof that the investment would make their jobs easier, make their teams work more seamlessly, and give them a competitive edge. We also recognized that that was becoming more increasingly difficult now that the workplace has changed with teams now working remote, in-office, hybrid, poolside, or wherever.

THE SOLUTION

So how do we communicate that using Windows 11 will get your team ahead in a competitive work environment from anywhere? We show head-to-head competitions complete with hilarious commentators and quirky judges in highly entertaining scenarios that each showcase a key feature or benefit.

We produced six video episodes, along with photos, social shorts, a mountain of post-able assets, playbooks, and a plethora of other sales tools to arm Lenovo’s sales force with all they’ll need to sell through to their customers and distributors.

THE RESULT

The series was considered an enormous success for the segment and led to a greater awareness of the power of Lenovo devices paired with Windows 11 for business. I’m also very proud to report that it has won multiple Addy and was a Gold Telly Winner for Branded Content in B2B Campaign.

On a personal note, I’m highly proud as I was deeply involved in the production from concept inception, to writing, art direction, through to final execution of the smallest supporting assets. I’m very grateful for the opportunity I had to pitch this idea and contribute.

Also, my dog had a featured role in Episode 6, so keep your eyes peeled.
